A-Frame House Exterior Remodel: Scandinavian Design with Patio Doors and Triangular Windows

Proposed Exterior Remodel Ground Floor: Replaced existing windows and door with two black-framed patio doors, separated by a vertical beam. First Floor: Replaced windows and door with two large triangular windows, separated by a vertical beam. Design Style: Scandinavian, minimalist, modern with natural wood accents. Budget: Over $25000 Timeline: 1 month

The proposed remodel focuses on enhancing the natural light and modernizing the A-frame house with a Scandinavian design. On the ground floor, the existing windows and door are replaced with two black-framed patio doors (each approximately 6ft wide x 8ft tall), separated by a sleek, black vertical beam. This maximizes the opening for natural light and provides easy access to the outdoors. Similarly, on the first floor, the windows and door are replaced with two large triangular windows (each approximately 8ft wide at the base and 10ft tall), also separated by a black vertical beam, mirroring the ground floor design. This dramatically increases the amount of natural light entering the upper level and creates a striking architectural feature. The black frames provide a modern contrast against the white or light-colored siding, typical of Scandinavian design. The overall size of the A-frame is estimated to be 30 feet wide and 25 feet tall at its peak. The use of natural wood accents throughout the exterior will complement the minimalist aesthetic and blend seamlessly with the snowy, pine tree-filled landscape. This remodel aims to create a bright, inviting, and stylish exterior that enhances both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the home.
